I got the Loc8tor to use on a cat who goes outside. It works well IF it finds the tag in the first few minutes, before the message "Failed to find, change position" appears. Otherwise I can be right on top of the tag, and no signal. It's a nuisance to restart ever few minutes. They sent a replacement, but it works the same way. The first one had a range of only about 50 ft, but the new one is abt l00. Seems they have a quality control problem.
Has anyone else had these problems? Is there a tech geek in the u.s. who could fix the thing? It would sell to pet owners if reliabl
